H.E. Mr. Foster Gultom
Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia
Foster Gultom is a career diplomat who was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on 3 September 2012 as Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan and non-residence ambassador to the Republic of Tajikistan. Prior to his present assignment, Ambassador Foster Gultom served as Secretary of the Directorate General of ASEAN Cooperation, and Director of ASEAN Economic Cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
Ambassador Gultom joined the diplomatic service of the Republic of Indonesia in 1985 and he has served in Indonesian Embassies/Missions in Washington, D.C. (1989-1993), Geneva (1995-1998), Canberra (2001-2004), and Seoul (2006-2010).
He is a graduate of University of Indonesia majoring in International Relations. Ambassador Gultom has two children.
